Bio

Dr Tony Barnett

Tony is a Research Fellow at the National Centre for Youth Substance Use Research, School of Psychology, The University of Queensland. His work applies qualitative methods to explore the social and cultural contexts of alcohol and other drug use, treatment (including novel therapeutic interventions), and policy effects. His work draws on critical social science methods to provide in-depth accounts of consumers, carers and clinicians' experiences of addiction treatment, care and recovery.
